Senior Computational Biologist – Early Discovery Oncology

Job Summary

The Senior Computational Biologist in Early Discovery Oncology will work onsite in Salt Lake City, Utah. This role involves collaboration with various specialists, including biologists, chemists, data scientists, as well as platform and data engineers, to advance early discovery efforts in oncology.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate computational biology with experimental data.
  • Utilize computational methods to support drug discovery and development in oncology.
  • Analyze and interpret biological data to contribute to project goals.
  • Engage in the design and execution of experiments that align with computational strategies.
  • Communicate findings effectively to various stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • PhD or equivalent experience in computational biology, bioinformatics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical sectors.
  • Proven expertise in computational tools and methodologies relevant to biological data analysis.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills necessary for working with cross-functional teams.
