**Job Title: Senior Detention Officer**
The Senior Detention Officer oversees both administrative and operational security functions, taking charge of the Detention Officers during their designated shifts. This role entails ensuring the safety, health, and legal rights of inmates, all while upholding the security protocols of the facility. Applicants must possess a high school diploma or GED, along with a minimum of three years of experience in criminal justice, ideally including one year in a supervisory capacity. Additionally, a valid driver’s license and successful completion of foundational pre-service officer training are mandatory.
