Job Summary
We are on the lookout for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer / Build & Release Engineer to join our proactive team in Dallas, Texas. The primary aim is to enhance the Orange Rocket initiative through the transition of systems to GitHub Enterprise and the refinement of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring efficiency, minimizing risks, and lowering operational costs via innovative DevOps methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Support the migration of existing systems to GitHub Enterprise.
- Optimize and enhance CI/CD workflows to boost deployment efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with team members to identify and mitigate risks in development processes.
- Implement innovative DevOps solutions to drive cost reduction and improve system reliability.
- Participate in knowledge sharing and proactive problem-solving within the team.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in DevOps practices and tools, particularly in CI/CD environments.
- Strong knowledge of version control systems, specifically Git and GitHub Enterprise.
- Experience in automation and infrastructure as code methodologies.
- Ability to work effectively in an onsite team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
