Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Diesel Mechanic to join our team on the 1st shift. This essential role involves performing comprehensive repairs and maintenance on diesel engines and related equipment. The position offers a competitive salary along with a sign-on bonus of $5000 to attract skilled professionals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct diagnostics and troubleshoot issues in diesel engines.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, brake replacements, and engine overhauls.
- Ensure that all repairs meet safety and operational standards.
- Document services and maintain records of repairs performed.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance shop efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, preferably in a senior role.
- Expertise in heavy equipment mechanics and repair.
- Certification in diesel mechanics or a related field is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
