Job Summary
The Senior Engineer in Civil/Structural Engineering Standards is responsible for establishing and refining engineering standards and practices to be utilized across various projects. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining consistency in the design and implementation of complex electrical and mechanical systems for leading energy companies. The position is based onsite in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new engineering standards and practices for civil and structural applications.
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure adherence to standardized procedures.
- Contribute expertise in the design of intricate electrical and mechanical systems.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department.
Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge and proven experience in civil and structural engineering.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment.
- Prior experience as a lead member of a recognized engineering team or relevant project.
- Proficiency in industry standards and practices related to engineering design.
