Job Summary
The Senior Engineer in CIWS (Close-In Weapon System) will play a critical role in the design, development, and implementation of advanced weapon systems. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and project management skills to support system upgrades and enhancements, while ensuring compliance with military specifications and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead engineering projects focused on CIWS, including the analysis of system performance and identification of improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of new technologies into existing systems.
- Perform detailed design reviews and testing protocols to validate system functionality and reliability.
- Develop and sustain technical documentation, including requirements specifications and operational procedures.
- Provide technical mentorship and direction to junior engineers and other team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, preferably with military or defense applications.
- Strong understanding of weapon system integration and military specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
