Job Summary

The Senior Field Service Technician will be based in Atlanta, Georgia, and will primarily focus on delivering high-quality field service support in accordance with ABB’s standards for quality and safety in industrial and manufacturing environments. This role entails overseeing the proactive maintenance and repair of critical equipment and systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct field service activities, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs of equipment.
  • Collaborate closely with Field Service Technicians and other team members to enhance service delivery.
  • Implement ABB’s quality standards and safety protocols while performing all tasks.
  • Utilize the Ability™ Energy Manager for managing energy-related elements in client facilities.
  • Assist in ensuring that industrial systems operate efficiently and reliably.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or an Associate’s degree with relevant experience.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in field service operations within industrial settings.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply ABB quality and safety standards in a practical environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the capability to function effectively in dynamic situations.
