Job description

**Job Title: Aerospace Materials Engineer**

The Aerospace Materials Engineer will be responsible for spearheading the creation and standardization of specifications related to materials and processes for rocket motor systems, which encompass propellants and thermal protection elements. This role also involves overseeing material characterization initiatives, ensuring production readiness, and offering technical guidance during failure investigations and root cause analyses. Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline and have a minimum of 5 years of experience in materials and process engineering within the aerospace or defense sector. A strong foundation in polymeric materials and thermal protection systems is essential, along with the capability to obtain a U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
