Job Summary
The Senior Network Administrator is a pivotal role within Odyssey, located in Niceville, Florida. This position involves the management and support of network systems for the Air and Computer Systems Administrators, ensuring seamless operations and security compliance. The administrator will work directly with Tier IV IT systems and is responsible for maintaining the overall integrity of the network infrastructure, including routers and switches, while aligning with DoD cybersecurity standards.
Responsibilities
- Support and manage the network infrastructure, ensuring reliable operation and performance.
- Collaborate with Air and Computer Systems Administrators to enhance system effectiveness.
- Implement and maintain compliance protocols in line with DoD cybersecurity requirements.
- Engage in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to network operations.
- Provide engineering support to ensure optimal system functionality and robust security measures.
Qualifications
- Experience in managing complex network systems and infrastructure.
- A background in maintaining compliance with government cybersecurity regulations.
- Formal education in a relevant field with a minimum of an Associate’s degree, or equivalent experience.
- Proficient knowledge of network components, including routers and switches.
- Strong technical skills in IT systems administration and engineering support.
