Job Summary
The Senior Network Administrator will play a crucial role in providing support to the Air Force, ensuring the seamless functioning of IT infrastructure and systems. This position involves working closely with Computer Systems Administrators and Tier IV IT systems to maintain and enhance network operations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of network infrastructure, including routers and switches.
- Collaborate with IT support teams to ensure the effective integration and engineering of network solutions.
- Implement and uphold DoD cybersecurity standards to safeguard network systems.
- Provide technical expertise and support in resolving complex network issues.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in network administration within a military or governmental context preferred.
- Possess a relevant bachelor’s degree or an associate’s degree in a related field.
- Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity requirements and best practices.
- Strong understanding of networking components, including routers and switches.
