Job Summary
The Senior Quality Technician acts as the principal technical expert responsible for conducting thorough inspections and ensuring that products meet specified standards. This position involves mentoring other quality personnel, overseeing investigations related to non-conformance issues, and working alongside various teams to promote ongoing improvements in quality processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead advanced quality inspections and verify products for adherence to specifications.
- Mentor and support fellow quality team members to enhance their skills.
- Conduct investigations into non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing setting.
- Advanced skills in interpreting blueprints and utilizing precision measuring instruments.
- A high school diploma or GED is mandatory; an associate degree or relevant technical certification is preferred.
