Job Summary
The Senior Structural Engineer position in Portland, OR, focuses on heavy industrial, semiconductor, and industrial facilities projects. This role combines onsite engagement in a hybrid work environment and requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the engineering design and analysis for various structural projects.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards in the structural design.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to coordinate project efforts.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and technical staff.
- Review and approve engineering drawings and documentation.
- Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Qualifications
- A Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering is preferred.
- Significant experience in structural engineering within heavy industrial and related sectors.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software and design tools.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Professional engineering license is advantageous.
