Job Summary
The role involves operating heavy machinery including balers, forklifts, and loaders to manage and process recyclable materials effectively. The individual will be responsible for overseeing the flow of materials, keeping accurate inventory records, and carrying out routine maintenance on equipment to maintain smooth operations.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment, specifically balers, forklifts, and loaders, to handle recyclable materials.
- Coordinate the flow of materials throughout the processing area.
- Maintain accurate inventory records related to recyclable materials.
- Perform regular maintenance on equipment to ensure all machinery operates efficiently.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months of relevant prior experience in equipment operation.
- A valid forklift operating certification is required.
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred for candidates.
