Job description
**Social Service Worker I** is responsible for investigating claims of child abuse and neglect, collaborating with families to develop case plans and maintain child safety. This role involves liaising with community organizations, conducting comprehensive assessments, and offering testimony during court proceedings. Applicants should possess a bachelor’s degree in social work, sociology, psychology, marriage and family therapy, or a related discipline. Additionally, candidates must have a valid driver’s license and successfully pass a fingerprint-based criminal background check.
