Develop backend middleware and services for a U.S. Government client, including Java code that is reviewed, tested, and deployed to production. Maintain and optimize Solr or Elasticsearch search capabilities through schema updates, Lucene queries, shard management, and performance tuning. Requires an active security clearance with the appropriate polygraph, a computer science or equivalent technical degree, at least three years of Solr or Elasticsearch experience, and at least five years of hands-on backend Java development. Also requires at least three years in a big data environment using at least two of Hadoop, PySpark, Spark, and HBase; AWS, JIRA, and GitHub experience are desired.
