Job Summary
The position of Specialist in Welding Quality Process Engineering is situated in Canoga Park, California. This role is conducted onsite and focuses on ensuring the integrity of welding processes through robust quality control and assurance measures.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and evaluate welding quality processes within the production environment.
- Collaborate with various teams involved in shop, weld, composite, propellant, electrical, and assembly operations.
- Implement and maintain non-destructive testing methods to assess weld integrity.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications for welding operations.
Qualifications
- AWS Certified Weld Inspector certification is preferred.
- Alternatively, a minimum of three years of experience in a hardware-related field is required.
- Strong knowledge of relevant welding techniques and quality assurance practices.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
