The Specimen Collector II is responsible for collecting and processing patient urine and oral fluid specimens while maintaining accurate records and inventory. This role serves as a key intermediary between clinical practices and the laboratory to ensure exemplary patient care and compliance. Candidates must have at least 6 months of specimen collection experience or 1 year in a medical role, along with a high school diploma. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required for travel between facilities.
