Job Summary
The Speech Language Pathologist Assistant will carry out treatment strategies aimed at addressing speech, language, and fluency disorders while working under the supervision of a certified therapist. This role is essential in supporting the therapeutic process and ensuring effective communication strategies for patients.
Responsibilities
- Implement treatment plans formulated by a licensed Speech Language Pathologist.
- Gather and record patient data related to speech and language interventions.
- Assist in maintaining and managing therapy equipment used during sessions.
- Document daily treatment activities and progress notes for each patient.
Qualifications
- Possession of an Associate degree in Speech and Language Pathology or a related field.
- A current active license as a Speech and Language Pathologist Assistant in Illinois is mandatory.
