Job Summary
This position is for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist who will deliver tailored assessments and individual therapy focused on speech, language, and feeding for young clients within their home environment. The role involves working closely with various interdisciplinary teams and offering guidance to caregivers on effective strategies and methods for monitoring progress.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations of pediatric clients’ speech, language, and feeding needs.
- Provide personalized therapy sessions in a home setting.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create comprehensive treatment plans.
- Educate caregivers on techniques and strategies to support therapy goals at home.
- Track and document client progress using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
Qualifications
- Must hold a valid license as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas.
- Experience in pediatric home health or a similar field is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with EMR documentation processes is required.
