Job Summary
The Speech Therapist is responsible for assessing residents to create and execute tailored treatment plans focusing on speech, language, cognitive abilities, and swallowing. This role requires teamwork with other professionals and the meticulous maintenance of clinical records reflecting each resident’s progress.
Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations of residents to design personalized treatment strategies.
- Implement and oversee speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing rehabilitation plans.
- Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team to enhance patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation regarding resident progress.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Speech Language Pathology.
- Valid Utah state license to practice as a Speech Therapist.
- Preferred experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation environments.
