Job Summary
The Senior Cloud Engineer is responsible for the design, automation, and upkeep of the Azure Cloud Platform, focusing on creating landing zones and shared services. This role will also spearhead FinOps projects to enhance cloud cost management and act as a Level-3 escalation point for technical issues related to the platform.
Responsibilities
- Design and automate solutions within the Azure Cloud Platform.
- Manage landing zones and shared services to support cloud infrastructure.
- Lead initiatives aimed at optimizing cloud costs through FinOps practices.
- Serve as a Level-3 support escalation point for resolving platform-related technical issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Azure cloud engineering.
- Proven expertise in Infrastructure as Code and automation techniques.
- Strong knowledge of cloud governance principles.
