Job Summary
The position involves overseeing the commissioning phases of power plant systems, specifically focusing on gas and steam turbines, heat recovery steam generators (HRSG), and overall plant facilities. The role ensures a seamless transition from mechanical completion to sustained operational reliability, while adhering to safety protocols and performance benchmarks throughout the commissioning process.
Responsibilities
- Lead the commissioning activities for gas and steam turbine systems, HRSG, and balance of plant systems.
- Manage and coordinate the commissioning timeline and budget effectively.
- Ensure proper staffing is in place to complete tasks and meet deadlines.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety standards and operational performance criteria during the commercial operation phase.
- Facilitate reliable operation from project initiation through to completion.
Qualifications
- Must hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- Requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in utility-scale power plant commissioning.
- Candidates should be prepared for on-site work, including the necessity to work nights and weekends as needed.
- Must comply with U.S. export control regulations and requirements.
