Job Summary
The role entails providing expert technical guidance on safety protocols for machinery and equipment within manufacturing and high-risk environments. The individual will spearhead intricate safety evaluations, conduct thorough functional safety assessments, and lead investigations into incidents while also mentoring less experienced engineering personnel.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the implementation of machine and equipment safety programs in manufacturing and high-hazard settings.
- Lead detailed safety assessments and conduct functional safety analyses.
- Investigate incidents thoroughly to enhance safety measures.
- Provide mentorship and leadership to junior engineers in the field of safety engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a safety-oriented discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in equipment safety engineering.
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA, ANSI, and ISO safety regulations.
- Eligibility for ITAR compliance is required.
