Job Summary
The Surgical Technologist is an essential member of the surgical team in the Operating Room, responsible for ensuring a sterile environment and coordinating patient care throughout surgical procedures. This full-time position operates from 11 am to 9:30 pm and includes a sign-on bonus for new hires.
Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining a sterile field during surgical operations.
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Support the surgical team by preparing necessary instruments and supplies.
- Ensure adherence to patient rights and safety protocols.
- Participate in post-operative patient care as required.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required.
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist is preferred.
- Knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical procedures.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
