Job Summary
The Staff Manufacturing Engineer acts as a key technical authority dedicated to facilitating the efficient and scalable mass production of aerospace hardware for various programs. This position is pivotal in managing the overall manufacturing strategy, overseeing Assembly, Integration & Testing (AI&T) procedures, and driving continuous improvement efforts to uphold quality and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of manufacturing strategies for space hardware.
- Oversee end-to-end processes in Assembly, Integration & Testing.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Address and resolve non-conformance issues in production processes.
- Ensure adherence to aerospace quality standards throughout manufacturing operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
- 8-15 years of experience in the production of high-reliability or aerospace hardware.
- Demonstrated expertise in production system design.
- Strong understanding of aerospace quality assurance processes.
