Job Summary
The Orthopedic Center is on the lookout for an enthusiastic PRN Sterile Processing Technician to become a part of our dynamic ASC team in Chandler, Arizona. This position is essential for managing surgical instruments and organizing necessary supplies to facilitate efficient operations in the operating room (OR). The technician will play a key role in ensuring the sterility of instruments and the overall effectiveness of OR procedures.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize all surgical instruments.
- Prepare and sterilize supplies for use in the operating room.
- Ensure compliance with safety and sterility protocols.
- Support OR operations by ensuring the availability of needed instruments and supplies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Knowledge of sterile processing techniques and practices is essential.
- Experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in surgical services, is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and capability to work in a fast-paced environment.
