Job Summary
The Structural Engineer role is essential in ensuring the integrity and safety of various structures and infrastructure projects. This position is responsible for applying engineering principles to design and analyze structural systems while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Design and evaluate structural components and systems in accordance with established codes and standards.
- Conduct assessments and feasibility studies for various construction projects.
- Collaborate with architects, builders, and other engineers to deliver cohesive project outcomes.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation to support design decisions and project progress.
- Assist in the hiring and onboarding process for engineering staff.
- Mentor junior engineers and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
- Possession of a Structural Engineer (SE) license or a Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in structural design software.
- Excellent communication abilities to effectively convey technical information.
- Relevant experience in structural engineering and project management.
