Job Summary
The role of the Structural Engineer (SE – Civil/Truss) is vital to the success of our projects in Boston, Massachusetts. This position requires expertise in structural engineering principles, focusing on the design and analysis of various structural components, particularly in truss systems. The engineer will play an essential role from the initial hiring process to ongoing project execution, ensuring high standards of integrity and safety.
Responsibilities
- Design and analyze structural systems with an emphasis on truss configurations.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure engineering solutions meet design specifications.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant codes and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in the hiring and onboarding of new engineering staff to support project initiatives.
- Conduct assessments and provide recommendations to enhance structural performance.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required.
- Possession of Structural Engineer (SE) license or a Professional Engineer (PE) license is essential.
- Proven experience in structural design and analysis.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and safety standards.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in teams.
