Job Summary
The Structural Engineer (SE – Civil/Truss) position is vital for the organization, as it plays a key role in the design and evaluation of structural components. This position is based in Nashville, Tennessee, and requires an onsite presence to collaborate effectively with the team and oversee projects.
Responsibilities
- Engage in the design and analysis of truss structures, ensuring they meet necessary codes and standards.
- Collaborate with team members to facilitate the structural design process from conception through implementation.
- Review designs and provide recommendations to improve project efficiency and efficacy.
- Assist in the mentoring of team members to enhance their professional development.
- Participate actively in project meetings, offering expert insights on structural engineering concerns.
Qualifications
- A valid Structural Engineer (SE) license or a Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is essential.
- Demonstrated experience in structural engineering principles and practices, particularly relating to truss design.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address engineering challenges effectively.
- Excellent communication abilities for clear interaction with team members and stakeholders.
