Job Summary
The role of Structural Engineer (SE – Civil/Truss) is essential for the development and oversight of structural designs and specifications. This position requires expertise in civil engineering principles and is crucial for ensuring the integrity and safety of various structures.
Responsibilities
- Design and analyze structural systems and components, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with project teams to optimize engineering solutions for structural challenges.
- Prepare detailed engineering reports and documentation.
- Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with design specifications.
- Engage in the hiring process and mentorship of new engineering staff.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a similar field is required.
- Licensure as a Structural Engineer (SE) or Professional Engineer (PE) is mandatory.
- Experience in structural engineering, particularly with truss design, is preferred.
