The Respiratory Therapist Assistant plays a key role in the preparation, transportation, cleaning, and calibration of respiratory equipment under the supervision of a licensed therapist. This position also involves assisting medical professionals with procedures while ensuring a hygienic and safe clinical setting. Applicants should be actively enrolled in an accredited Associate of Science program in Respiratory Care or Cardiopulmonary Sciences. A valid BLS/Healthcare provider certification is mandatory, and candidates must be able to secure RRT licensure within three months post-graduation.
