Job Summary
The Surgical Technologist will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding care to patients in Corvallis, Oregon. This position involves working closely with a dedicated team of medical professionals to ensure efficient surgical operations. Surgical Technologists are vital members of the operating room team and are responsible for maintaining aseptic conditions and supporting the surgical process.
Responsibilities
- Assist during surgical procedures by preparing and organizing the operating room.
- Ensure the availability of necessary surgical instruments and supplies.
- Maintain sterile fields and adhere to aseptic techniques throughout operations.
- Support surgeons and other surgical staff during procedures.
- Handle specimens and assist in the management of equipment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Main OR setting preferred.
- Knowledge of asepsis and sterile technique required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist is advantageous.
