Job Summary
The Surgical Technologist (CST) – OR CORE position is based in Hartford, Connecticut, and requires an onsite presence. This role is dedicated not only to delivering exceptional care to patients but also to ensuring that our Surgical Technologists receive outstanding support and benefits.
Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining the highest standards of medical and surgical care.
- Ensure the maintenance of a sterile field during surgical procedures.
- Work collaboratively with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Prepare and handle surgical instruments and supplies efficiently.
- Be accountable for the surgical environment and procedure protocols.
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTA) or eligibility to obtain certification.
- Knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile techniques is essential.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration in the operating room.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
