Job Summary
The Surgical Technologist I position at Riverview, OR, is a per diem role based in Haddonfield, New Jersey. This position plays a vital role in assisting surgical teams by providing necessary support during procedures, ultimately contributing to improved patient care outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons and surgical teams by preparing and maintaining the sterile field.
- Ensure the availability of the proper surgical instruments and equipment for procedures.
- Support the improvement processes aimed at enhancing the quality of surgical care.
- Adhere to the Surgical Technologist law and regulations concerning practice standards.
Qualifications
- A strong understanding of surgical instruments and their appropriate handling.
- A minimum of 6 months of operating room (OR) experience is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of sterile techniques and patient care standards.
