Job Summary
We are currently looking for meticulous Surgical Technologists to become a valuable part of our Operating Room (OR) team in Glens Falls, New York. These professionals play a crucial role in maintaining a sterile environment during surgical procedures and ensuring that the operating room runs smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a sterile field and ensure that all instruments are properly prepared and handled.
- Assist in patient positioning and preparation for surgical procedures.
- Support the surgical team by anticipating the needs of the surgeons and assisting with the flow of the operation.
- Manage surgical instruments and supplies, ensuring that they are properly sanitized and available when needed.
- Contribute to patient care by assisting with various tasks preoperatively and intraoperatively.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Surgical Technologist, preferably in an operating room setting.
- Knowledge of surgical instruments and procedures.
- Certification in Surgical Technology is required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a sterile environment.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and support patient care initiatives.
