Job Summary
We are looking for meticulous Surgical Technologists to become a vital part of our dedicated Operating Room (OR) team in Glens Falls, New York. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining a sterile environment and ensuring the overall efficiency of surgical procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing the operating room for surgical procedures, ensuring all instruments and equipment are sterile and ready for use.
- Support the surgical team by providing necessary tools and materials during operations.
- Assist in positioning patients appropriately for their surgical procedures.
- Ensure the safe handling and disposal of all sharps and hazardous materials.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
- Prior experience in an operating room setting is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to patient care.
