Job Summary
The Surgical Technologist – OR plays a critical role in the operating room by preparing surgical spaces, ensuring the proper sterilization of instruments, and assisting during surgical procedures. This position is focused on maintaining a safe and efficient environment for patient care throughout surgical operations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and organize the operating room for surgical procedures.
- Sterilize instruments and ensure that all necessary supplies are ready for surgery.
- Assist surgeons and nurses during surgeries by providing necessary tools and support.
- Monitor patient safety and maintain a sterile environment throughout the surgical process.
- Participate in the management of the surgical environment and equipment.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of surgical procedures and techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate the needs of the surgical team.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
