Job Summary
The Surgical Technologist – OR plays a crucial role in the operating room by providing assistance during surgical procedures. This position involves a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring the efficiency and safety of surgeries performed at the facility.
Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures.
- Prepare and maintain the operating room by ensuring all instruments and equipment are sterile and ready for use.
- Support the surgical team by anticipating their needs during operations.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process.
- Manage the sterilization of surgical instruments and the maintenance of an organized workspace.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist.
- Relevant experience in an operating room setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of surgical instruments, techniques, and procedures.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
