Job Summary
The Surgical Technologist – OR plays a crucial role in the surgical environment, providing assistance during operations and ensuring a smooth workflow in the operating room. This position is essential for maintaining a sterile field, managing surgical instruments, and supporting the surgical team to enhance patient safety and care.
Responsibilities
- Assist surgical teams by preparing and organizing the operating room.
- Ensure that all surgical instruments are sterilized and readily available during procedures.
- Support the surgical team by passing instruments and materials as needed.
- Monitor and uphold patient safety protocols throughout the surgical process.
Qualifications
- Completion of an approved surgical technology program.
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and practices.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
