Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Surgical Technologist to join our team in Mooresville, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will play a key role in providing compassionate care to patients within the surgical environment. This position requires proficiency in a variety of medical and surgical specialties, ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain a sterile field during surgical procedures.
- Assist the surgical team by passing instruments and supplies as needed.
- Manage and label laboratory specimens for further processing.
- Support the surgical team members, including physicians and registered nurses, by providing necessary reinforcement throughout procedures.
- Follow strict protocols for aseptic techniques to prevent infections.
Qualifications
- Completion of Surgical Technology program or equivalent experience.
- Certification from an accredited surgical technology program is preferred.
- Strong understanding of sterile techniques and protocols.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Commitment to providing compassionate patient care.
