Job Summary
The Surgical Technologist – OR plays a crucial role in the operating room by providing support during surgical procedures. This position is based at Las Palmas Medical Center in El Paso, Texas, where the technologist is responsible for various essential tasks that ensure smooth surgical operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical procedures by preparing the operating room and ensuring a sterile environment.
- Handle and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment effectively.
- Ensure the safety of patients throughout the surgical process.
- Collaborate with surgeons and other medical staff to facilitate patient care.
Qualifications
- Certification or training in surgical technology is preferred.
- Experience in an operating room setting is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
