Job Summary
The Surgical Technologist – OR will play a vital role in the surgical team by providing essential support in the operating room. This position involves a variety of tasks that ensure the smooth operation of surgical procedures, facilitating a safe and effective environment for both patients and healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing the operating room to ensure optimal conditions for surgical procedures.
- Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments to maintain a sterile environment.
- Support the surgical team by providing necessary assistance throughout the entire operation.
- Ensure patient safety during procedures by adhering to established protocols and practices.
- Engage in effective communication and decision making related to patient care.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Surgical Technologist in an operating room setting.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and surgical procedures is essential.
- Ability to maintain attention to detail and adhere to strict safety guidelines.
- Strong communication skills and capability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
