Job Summary
The Surgical Technologist OR plays a vital role in supporting the surgical team throughout the surgical process, which includes preparations prior to the operation, assistance during the procedure, and post-operative care. This position is essential for ensuring that surgeries are conducted smoothly and safely.
Responsibilities
- Assist the surgical team with various tasks before, during, and after surgeries.
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field and necessary instruments.
- Ensure that all surgical instruments are ready and functioning appropriately.
- Provide support to the surgical team as needed to facilitate efficient surgery.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited surgical technologist program.
- Certification as a surgical technologist is required.
- Recent graduates must acquire certification by December 28, 2020, at the latest.
