Job Summary
Intermountain Healthcare is in search of a skilled Surgical Technologist OR to become part of our committed team in Golden, Colorado. This position focuses on assisting in surgical operations, ensuring that a sterile environment is preserved. The role is essential to fostering a collaborative atmosphere where both patient care and staff contributions are held in high regard.
Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical procedures by preparing and maintaining the sterile field.
- Function as a vital member of the surgical team, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
- Handle surgical instruments and supplies efficiently to facilitate smooth operations.
- Uphold strict safety and hygiene standards during surgeries.
- Support surgical staff and engage in continuous learning to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Surgical Technologist in an operating room setting.
- Certification from a recognized Surgical Technology program.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and sterilization techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
