Join our dedicated team as a Surgical Technologist in the Operating Room at Pascack Valley Medical Center located in Westwood, New Jersey. The Surgical Technologist plays a crucial role in enhancing patient care by assisting during surgical procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist the surgical team by preparing and maintaining the sterile field throughout procedures.
- Provide support to surgeons by organizing instruments and supplies necessary for surgeries.
- Ensure proper sterilization and care of surgical instruments.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited surgical technology program.
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) is preferred.
- Strong understanding of surgical procedures and sterile techniques.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
