Job Summary
Wooster Community Hospital in Wooster, OH, is in search of a dedicated Surgical Technologist for the OR/Endoscopy unit. This full-time position involves working during the day with an on-call rotation, amounting to 40 hours each week, along with additional call responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Ensure proper setup of sterile fields for surgical procedures.
- Handle and manage surgical instruments efficiently.
- Assist the surgical team, including the surgeon, during various procedures.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited surgical technology program is preferred.
- Certification as a surgical technologist is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of sterile techniques and surgical procedures.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a surgical team environment.
