Job Summary
The Surgical Technologist, also known as the Scrub Technologist, plays a vital role in the surgical team within Arlington, Tennessee. This position requires dedication to maintaining a safe and sterile environment that ensures patient safety and well-being during surgical procedures.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a sterile field throughout surgical operations.
- Assist the OR nurse manager in ensuring that all necessary tools and supplies are prepared and readily available for surgical procedures.
- Handle and process specimens appropriately for laboratory analysis.
- Support the surgical team to optimize patient outcomes through effective collaboration and communication.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited surgical technology program.
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment with a focus on patient safety.
