Job Summary
We are looking for a PRN Surgical Technologist to join our operating room team in Charleston, WV. This role is essential for the successful support of surgical procedures, where you will maintain a sterile environment and ensure patient safety, all while working under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and setup of the operating room for surgical procedures.
- Maintain sterile technique throughout surgical cases.
- Support in patient positioning and ensure proper OR turnover.
- Emphasize aseptic practices to safeguard patient welfare during surgeries.
Qualifications
- Experience in surgical technology or a related field preferred.
- Knowledge of sterile processing and operating room protocols.
- Ability to work effectively with medical staff, emphasizing teamwork and communication.
