Job Summary
Cameron Hospital, located in Angola, Indiana, is on the lookout for a certified Surgical Technologist to play a vital role in supporting surgeons during surgical and invasive interventions. The position is expected to operate during the day shift and is conducted onsite, ensuring close collaboration with the surgical team to maintain a sterile environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons in various operative procedures.
- Maintain a sterile field and adhere to sterile techniques.
- Prepare and organize surgical instruments and materials for procedures.
- Work closely with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Follow established operating room protocols and procedures.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist from an accredited program.
- Thorough understanding of sterile techniques and OR procedures.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with the surgical team.
- Experience in a clinical surgical setting is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
