Job Summary
The Surgical Technologist – OR/Surgical Tech plays a vital role in the Surgical Services department, contributing significantly to patient care. This position is critical for supporting surgical procedures by providing essential technical assistance to surgical teams. The job is onsite in Georgia and requires travel, adhering to the 80-mile radius stipulation.
Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining a sterile environment during surgical operations.
- Prepare and organize surgical instruments and equipment for procedures.
- Support the surgical team by anticipating their needs during operations.
- Ensure all required supplies are available and ready for procedures.
- Participate in patient care by facilitating pre-operative and post-operative processes.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist is preferred.
- Experience in an operating room setting is advantageous.
- Ability to adhere to safety and operational protocols.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A valid driver’s license is required for travel compliance.
